B BalancersThe Ingersoll Rand "B" series balancers come standard with NO CONTROLS, and are designed for integration with an end effector or handling device that includes a control package.

BA BalancersIngersoll Rand "BA" series balancers have no pendant controls and are used for single load suspending applications either at a fixed height or where both hands are used to manually raise, lower and position or “Float†a load. The operator experiences virtually no part weight or resistance in manipulating the load.
The “BA†controller is a self-relieving regulator that automatically adds or exhausts air to raise or lower (float) the load to the desired height where it will remain suspended. The regulator can also be adjusted to slowly raise a load up and out of an operators way.
The primary application for the "BA" series balancer is for suspending and/or positioning constant weight items.

EA BalancersIngersoll Rand "EA" series balancers are used for handling multiple (up to 3) loads within a 40 lb (18.1 kg) weight range without the need to adjust the controls.
When the pendant is in the LO- and UN-LOAD position, balancer air pressure is released to allow the lighter loads to be in balance. When the pendant is in the HI-LOAD position, no pressure is released, and the heaviest load can be balanced.
The "EA" series balancers are ideally suited for applications where up to 3 load sizes are frequently lifted, and operator hands-on the part is required. The UN-LOAD position is also often used for handling device balancing (loaded/unloaded).

ZA BalancersThe Ingersoll Rand “ZA†series balancer is the most common, and is designed for high speed, precision handling of variable weight loads. Up/down movement is accomplished through the use of an ergonomically designed pendant with low-effort, color coded thumb levers.
After positioning the load with the pendant control, the unit defaults into a “Float†mode that allows the operator up to 18 in (457 mm) to manually adjust the load for final positioning.

Spring Balancer Accessories
Balancer Accessories A floor controlled locking device is available making it easier to change suspended loads without tension adjustment. The simplicity of this device will minimize downtime when changing a suspended load for a given balancer. Once installed, turn the handle towards red to lock the drum. After load is changed, turn handle towards green to unlock the drum.
